Before
And After

And After
Mase, as you can probably tell, has gone through a huge transformation. Since starting CrossFit and following the zone diet, Mase has lost over 50 pounds! Not only has he lost this tremendous amount of weight, but he has also built a LOT more muscle and is much stronger and faster than ever before! The last time he did "Helen" (3 rounds for time of a 400m run, 21 kettlebell swings, and 12 pull-ups ), his time was almost under 8 minutes. That is flying!
Mase, congratulations on all your huge achievements with fitness and health! You are truly inspirational! And thanks again for allowing us to post these motivating pictures!
TODAY'S MUST SEE VIDEO - Sue, who's lost 70 pounds at CrossFit Watertown, gives her perspective on starting CrossFit. This is a video you cannot miss!
---------------------------------------

Thanks. He may not see it but I have to give a big shout out to Snax from CF San Diego for never quitting on me and helping me when I decided to start CrossFit and the Zone. Love Ya Bro! Huge thanks to you and Huff again for bringing CF to The Ventura Area, as well as being the great friends and coaches that you are.
I wanted to let everyone know that it takes hard work and dedication to achieve greatness in anything. For a while I thought that Crossfitters were born that way and I could never achieve the level of fitness that they have. Once I started I began to understand how these freaks of nature got there. By busting their asses every chance they have and making the sacrafices they do for the thing they love most, elite fitness. This is not an easy path to walk on but the results are beyond your wildest dreams. That is what will keep your eyes on the prize, the almighty PR!
BTW, Dropped in on CF Oahu for their 6 AM WOD-
Max Front Squat- 245(PR)
Then-
3 Rounds-
10 -135lbs DL
10- 135lbs Power Cleans
25 PU's and 25 Squats
Time-8:17

YOU KNOW MASE HAS REALLY BEEN A INSPIRATION TO ME!
JUST SEEING HOW HE WAS BEFORE MADE ME THINK I COULD BE JUST AS IN SHAPE AS HE IS NOW, WITH HARD WORK AND DEDICATION.
BTW I HAVE LOST 20 POUND SINCE I STARTED CROSSFIT WHICH WAS REALLY NOT THAT LONG AGO! IF I WHERE TO BE WORKING OUT IN GYM LIKE LA FITNESS OR MAVERICKS I DONT THINK I WOULD BE LOOSING WEIGHT SO FAST!

I met Mase at the CFSD cert in August. Hella nice guy. He was talking about zoning and you could tell he was really motivated. He's made CF a lifestyle, not a workout. Same with what he eats. It isn't A diet (temporary). It's his diet (what he eats always).
Keep up the great work!

Umm, wow! Annie from CF Santa Cruz Central would say: "From Chunk to Hunk"! How much time between photos, by the way? STRONG work!!

Gotta give love to Mase for the inspiration. I've been hitting CF since June at Crossfit Snohomish and am in love with it all. Checking out your progress and reading your comments is mad inspiration for me to exercise discipline with diet and continue my quest to improve fitness via Crossfit. Thanks for sharing.
