I love racing home from CFV to try to post first on the weekends!!!
BS - 155-175-205 (PR)
1k Row - 3:27.X (PR)
This is sweet, I just did 5x5 back squats yesterday and couldnt get 205 more than 2-3 times!
3:20
My first 1k row was a lot easier than I thought, except I forgot to stay on the seat... twice! I held a 1:40 pace the whole way through and then fell off twice in the last 150m. Next time I feel like I can hold a 1:35- 1:38 pace and then unload around 300m. Goal for next time is without a doubt sub 3 minutes!
275-315-365(f) 4 reps
Learned the Low Bar Squat today. Extremely different than what I have done my whole life. I can definitely see the benefits of the low bar its just going to take some time to get used to it. Going to have to take a step back in order to take a step forward as far as the weight goes. Looking forward to the challenge.
my first 1K row: 4:31.3
it was really great to have dave there and everyone cheering on
it's both calming and helpful :)
i liked going first to get it out of the way and done :)
squat form practice with the upright poles: no weight (still hard)
did about 5 sets of 5
(next i'll practice pole dancing... ;) haha... after i get the squat form down of course :- )
1 k row- 3:51.7 PR back squats-85-105-115
The back squats were very challenging after the row! My legs were dying but it was awesome!!
Jaala you are very inspiring! Your mental toughness is amazing, not to mention what a beautiful person you are, and that now I have to beat YOU at rowing!! Great job babe!! You ROCK!!
