i am very happy with my PR today. The last time we did deadlifts I had been sick and didn't get near my previous PR. It was good to see I'm back and improving once again. This was a good WOD for me. If it didn't require the reps to be unbroken then I would've definitely broken up the KBS because after about 7 each round I started to arch my back and do sloppy work. This is good and bad. Good because I need to get comfortable with being uncomfortable. I need to practice continuing when it hurts. Bad because after my 10 unbroken KBS my right lower back started to cramp a bit (poor core strength). So, did the good cancel out the bad or did I benefit more from the good than I was hurt by the bad? hmmm....

135-135 (2reps) F 3rd rep
a pr by 2lbs but i don't really count it since the last time we did 5 rep max i DL'd 135
maybe it was the bear crawls last night or a strain but i couldn't quite get that 135 up nicely. next time.
11:26 (?) (1st 2 rds 26#kb & knee pus rest of the rounds 15#db)
the 26er was pulling my LB
good workout even though i felt a bit weak
gotta go with what is and honor it
felt good to pace the air squats and do them unbroken--i usually stop midway--so that was cool
:)
looking forward to more progress and definition as the new year rolls through!
