I'm totally behind with new CFV happenings, but I just looked at the new gear you all have and I love the new shirts and sweatshirts! Awesomeness!! I'm definitely gonna come in and try them on...bday present!

See you all next week! :D

And congratulations Ben!! You are amazing! Love ya and can't wait to see you!

LOVE YA BEN!!!! Your the man!

Yay, Ben!

PS Are those pink and purple socks? Just curious.

Congratulations Ben! Keep up the great work!

I would like to start this comment by saying that I had shots of whiskey with Brandon lastnight.

Gosh. It's been a year already? Where has the time gone? The community that we build here is like nothing I've ever experienced. People say this all the time, in nearly every box (good and bad, I've experienced both), in the many affiliates I have been lucky enough to visit. Our facilities and our coaching staff are truly world class, and by far some of the best to have ever taken the time to watch me squat.

It is weird to me that there are still skeptics to our methodology (as a committed athlete, I can now call it "our" methodology). CF is more than a bunch of burpees, kettle bells, and jump ropes. It is my medication. My couples therapy. My magic 8 ball. My drug and my anti-drug. I can't wait to see what comes out of the hopper next!

I've done FGB 3 times, and every time it has been the worst WOD ever. Every WOD is like making out with a hot chick, going in for third base, and getting rejected...leaving me lying face-up on the gym floor with steam coming up off my body. When "Fran" comes around, I feel I'm reacquainting with an old friend from High School (and then remembering the time when I got rejected by her in the back seat of my parents periwinkle blue mini-van).

One of my many favorite post-WOD memories is when KP came in and shrieked after she performed 3 pullups while nobody was watching. I remember my first "Annie" when I couldn't put my arms straight down for a week afterwards. Oh, and the day that Dave came in the day after his bachelor party. Has anyone seen the Halloween pictures?

CrossFit has made me a better person, and I suspect it will continue to until I turn 35...and die (thanks CJ).

Let us all celebrate this day and lift heavy things over our heads, and file down our callouses.

OH! and by the way...

Ben, we love you, your wife (yeah KP!), and your small shorts. We are so happy to have you at CFV. Congratulations!

Oh,and by the way, you are wrong about turning 35 and dying...you don't die until you are 36. Lisa, you lucky woman, you got some years added to your life. Colin must LOVE you!

Great work Ben!!! It was great seeing Team Murf again. I'll always remember you telling your story about "Murf" prior to that team WOD.
Thats why its one of my favorites. Thanks Ben!

First of all, I want to say that the shots came about like this: Ben's giving me a ride home after a failed attempt to gain access to a fresh keg, but also after a hugely successful trip to Winchesters. I mentioned something like, 'I'd love to have you up for a beer, but the only beer I have is shots, and wel...' Ben: Okay, lets do it. Brandon: Really? Lets do it. And then KP called me a ----- for only taking two. Fuck, it was a monday!
Anyway, re: ben being committed to the cause and its effects. BH mentions the world class community that has sprung up, but he seems to forget that he is a powerhouse, but also funny/silly em-effer and it is always awesome to do a WOD with him. Always. Its people like Ben that help make this rad community possible.
Congrats Bennyhana.

Ben you're a funny guy. Congrats.
