This morning, this string of 13 black skulls was found hanging on a pipe over by the GHD. We have no idea how they got there or what they are for. Some have proposed that is good luck and we should keep it (as it could possibly be the reason why Lindsay was able to hold a plank for 7 minutes this morning!), while others believe that it is evil and that we should dispose of it right away.
What are your thoughts on this very important matter?

the beads are "Pace Counter Beads" Military people use them as an aide during land navigation. for every 100 meter you travel you pull a bead (skull) when you get ten beads (skulls) you pull one from the top representing 1000 Meters or 1 km. not bad luck. a way to find your way home. or a really good way to track what set your on when you can't count like me. hope that relieve any hibby gibbys anyone has.

I know who the culprit is, but I won't reveal this. They are definitely good luck as I clean and jerked a crap-load for ten rounds while using them to count.
They are more efficient than moving kettle bells around to count :).
They will kick ass even more when a pink strand shows up in the gym. That'll be the day.
We won't ask/ won't tell.

I think they are cool and I could use help counting, too.
Not only should we keep them, we should get more.
Glad I missed Tabata squats since I just did them.

#205 Front squat, This was the first time that I have ever done them with my wrist and all, and my leg felt good.
17 for the TABATA: And just a few seconds over 2min for the plank holds each.
As for Lindsay, We learned that she controls the ebb and flow of the Pacific Ocean, the earth on it ecliptic and the will of gravity. Just to name a few.

the beads are for pace counting used by the military for judging distance based on how many steps your stride is.
