It says so much that Amanda was in our lives for such a short amount of time and how much she impacted all of us. She was truly an amazing athlete and person. All of us that knew her were touched by her in some way. We will miss you!

Yes it's true, we all remembered Amanda from Aromas. Amanda was gnarly! She taught us many things about life in her time here at CFV. Amanda, Thank You for touching so many of us with your amazing attitude.

This rips me in half. I have no words.

We need an Amanda WOD

I agree with Mitch. And I agree with Ben, Jenny, CJ, Kat, etc. Absolute tragedy.

If you all want to see her compete, check out the complete coverage of the '09 games in the CF Journal. Especially the third event (sand bag sprint), she is in an early heat and has an early lead. It is cool to see.

Hi Amandas crossfit family,
This is Amandas father, We are so proud of her. The sky was the limit for her. She could accomplish anything she set her mind to. No telling what she might have done in the future. Tough as nails. She loves you. You are her family. Sincerely, Amandas proud father, Marvin.

I'm crushed by this. Amanda, really going to miss you.

Thanks to everyone for sending love to amanda. Thank you to those who wrote this wonderful post. Words cant describe how much she touched my life. I will miss you so much and i love you girl. I know you be up in heaven looking down on all of us. Thank you Crossfit Ventura for giving her your best programing and support and forever friendship. Amanda you will never be forgotten xoxo

Thanks to robb wolf for everything that you had done for her. I know she really loved that you did that for her. She always talked so many great things about you ( which we all do here at CFV) You post was funny and touching... perfect. I have it here posted for everyone to see. Thanks again for being a part of her life and as others.

Amanda we miss you... you will forever hold that special place in our hearts. You are one tough chic. If I ever doubted myself I knew you would be there to kick my butt back into shape and reality. You are a true motivator an inspiration!

To Amanda's family...my love and prayers are with you during this time. I am so sorry for your loss. May peace be with you!

WOD: Partner= Danelle
24:40 ( I think...) 10# med ball to 10 ft

Danelle you are awesome! I had a lot of fun! This was hard but the run was the most difficult part.

Her loved ones are in my thoughts, may she rest in peace. I am very sorry that I did not have the chance to know Amanda. For those who did, sounds like you are very lucky folks, to have known such an awesome person.

Amanda was a HUGE inspiration and motivator to all that knew her. I think about her almost everyday and aspire to her toughness and mental strength. She will be missed immensely.
